Privacy Policy
What information Ingenious Hub Hosting collects, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
This policy applies to the public website at host.ingenioushub.com and to the Ingenious Hub Hosting client portal operated by Indegenious Hub Enterprise Pvt. Ltd. It is written to be read, not to be skipped. If anything here is unclear, write to [email protected] and we will explain it.
Who we are
Ingenious Hub Hosting is a hosting, domain and client account management service operated by Indegenious Hub Enterprise Pvt. Ltd. (“Ingenious Hub”, “we”, “us”), based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website (host.ingenioushub.com) and the Ingenious Hub Hosting client portal, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.
This website is publicly accessible. You do not need an account to read any page on it, including this policy. The client portal, reached through the Client Login link, requires authentication.
Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories.
Account information
When an account is created for you as a customer, we hold the details needed to identify the account holder and administer the services — for example name, organisation name, email address, telephone number and billing address, along with the services registered to the account.
Contact information
When you write to us by email, use the contact form on this website, or raise a support ticket, we receive the information you choose to include in that message, together with your email address and any correspondence history related to it.
Service information
Information relating to the services you hold with us — such as domain names, hosting accounts, mailboxes, DNS records, invoices, payment records, renewal dates and support ticket history.
Website usage information
Like most websites, our servers may record standard technical information when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, referring page and timestamp, in server logs. This information is used for security, diagnostics and to keep the service running correctly.
Information we do not ask for
Please do not send us sensitive personal information — such as identity document numbers, financial account credentials or health information — by email or through a support ticket unless we have specifically asked for it in order to complete a task you have requested.
The contact form on this website
The contact form on our Contact page does not submit data to this website. It composes a message in your own email application, which you then choose to send. Until you send it, nothing reaches us and nothing is stored on this website.
Cookies
This public website does not set cookies of its own in order to display its pages. The Ingenious Hub Hosting client portal uses cookies that are necessary for signing in and keeping a session active.
Our Cookie Policy explains this in more detail, including how you can control cookies in your browser.
How we use information
We use the information described above in order to:
- create, administer and support your account and the services registered to it
- provide hosting, domain, email, SSL and related services you have requested
- issue invoices, record payments and send renewal and expiry notices
- respond to enquiries, support tickets and other correspondence
- maintain the security and integrity of our systems and investigate misuse
- meet legal, regulatory, registry and tax obligations that apply to us
- improve the reliability and clarity of our services and this website
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the information you provide for advertising by third parties.
Google account information and Google sign-in
Where a Google sign-in or Google account authorisation is offered or used in connection with Ingenious Hub Hosting, we request only the scopes necessary for the specific function being provided, and we ask for your consent at the point of authorisation.
In that situation:
- we receive only the information covered by the permissions you approve, which typically includes basic profile information such as your name, email address and profile picture
- that information is used only to identify your account and to perform the function you authorised — it is not used for advertising, and it is not sold or transferred to third parties for unrelated purposes
- we do not request access to Google account data that is not required for the function concerned
- you can review and withdraw application access at any time from your Google Account security settings, and you can ask us to delete information we hold that was obtained this way by writing to [email protected]
Any use by Ingenious Hub of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Service providers and third parties
Delivering hosting and domain services requires working with other organisations. Depending on the services you hold, these may include:
- data centre and infrastructure providers who host the servers on which services run
- domain registrars and registry operators, who require registrant details in order to register, renew or transfer a domain name, and who may publish or withhold certain details according to their own rules
- certificate authorities, who issue SSL certificates for domains
- payment processors and banks, who handle payment transactions — we do not store complete card details on our systems
- email and communication service providers used to deliver service notices
- professional advisers, such as accountants and auditors, where required
These parties receive only the information needed to perform their function, and are expected to handle it in accordance with their own obligations. Domain registration in particular is governed by the rules of the relevant registry, which we do not control.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, by a court, or by a competent authority, or where disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the security of our systems and other customers.
Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information held on our systems, including restricted access to administrative systems, encrypted connections for the client portal and this website, and internal controls on who can view customer account data.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Account security is shared: please use a strong, unique password for the client portal, do not share your login, keep the email address on your account secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We will never ask you for your password by email, phone or message.
Data retention
We keep account, service and billing information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as we need it to comply with legal, accounting, tax or registry obligations, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements.
Correspondence and support tickets are retained as a record of what was requested and done. If you would like information removed and there is no legal or operational reason for us to keep it, write to [email protected] and we will tell you what can be deleted and what we are required to retain.
Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- ask what personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
- ask us to delete information we are not required to keep
- withdraw a consent you previously gave, including authorisation granted to a Google-connected function
- object to or ask us to restrict certain uses of your information
- ask for a copy of information you provided to us, in a commonly used format
To make a request, write to [email protected] from the email address registered on your account, or from an address we can verify against it. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request — this protects you as much as it protects us. Some requests cannot be fulfilled in full where we are legally obliged to retain information.
